Breakthrough Technology Converts End of Life Waste Plastic to Clean Fuel

In a world where an estimated 8 million metric tons of plastic waste enters the ocean each year, it’s more important than ever to find new ways to recycle and upcycle global waste.

Mr. Brian Ablett, founder, President, and CEO of UK-based Advanced Hydrocarbon Fuels Limited is pleased to announce a new commercial production process they have developed using a breakthrough technology that converts mixed end-of-life waste plastic into low-carbon-footprint fuel.

The process is environmentally friendly and has the potential to significantly reduce the amount of waste plastic that ends up in landfills.

This new technology could be a game-changer in the fight against climate change and plastic pollution.

It also has the potential to provide a cleaner-burning fuel alternative to petrol and diesel.

The Advanced Hydrocarbon Fuels Limited process can convert all types of plastic, including non-recyclable plastics, into fuel.

Two primary products are produced:

1. Mid-level petroleum distillates

2. Gas.

The whole process is said to be scalable and efficient, with the potential to produce large quantities of fuel from even the most difficult-to-recycle plastics.

This is a significant breakthrough as non-recyclable plastics make up a large percentage of the waste plastic that ends up in landfills and oceans each year. It also has the added benefit of producing cleaner fuel than traditional petroleum products.

This new technology could be a game-changer in the fight against climate change and plastic pollution.

The proprietary technology will operate continuously, 24 hours a day, for 360 days, with a five-day shut down for annual maintenance.

The distillates have been successfully tested, mixed with diesel, and will run a range of diesel-powered platforms including power generators and large engines.

Everything is ready to go and the first commercial orders will be announced in the next few weeks.
